FBI Investigating Racist Flyers in Waterloo

Waterloo Police have brought in the FBI to help them track down the people responsible for leaving racist flyers at several locations on November 10th, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The flyers encouraged people to join the Aryan Freedom Network, a neo-Nazi group based in Texas. They claim to have chapters in 26 states, although Iowa is not one of them. Waterloo Police Chief Rob Duncan says he believes there are people who belong to the group that live in the Cedar Valley. The flyers were distributed in Evansdale, near University and Ansborough Avenues, and the area of Clough and Arden Streets between 1:00 and 2:00 in the morning. They also left a flyer at KWWL. The distributers wore hoodies, hats and gloves making it hard to identify them. Nobody has been arrested to this point.
