City of Waverly offices, including the Recycling Center, will be closed on Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on those days. Thursday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday while Friday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Monday. The City asks that carts be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on pickup day.
The Yard Waste Site in Waverly will close for the season on Wednesday. The hours of operation today and tomorrow will be from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Yard Waste Site will reopen in the Spring.
