A Waterloo man has been sentenced for meeting a 14 year old girl for sex in 2022, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 25 year old Jerrod Campbell has been sentenced to up to five years in prison after being convicted of felony Enticement of a Minor. Once he is released he will have to register as a sex offender and will be on a special parole of 10 years. A Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Campbell’s vehicle over in the early morning hours of September 21st of 2022. The deputy found the girl in the car and gave her a ride home. The girl’s father found texts between her and Campbell discussing meeting for sex and making up an excuse as to why they were found together.
