Waterloo Police are continueing to investigate break-ins at Catholic churches earlier this week, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were first called to Sacred Heart Catholic Church at around 3:20 Tuesday morning. There, they found evidence of forced entry into the church and some items were taken. Police were then called to St. Edward Catholic Church around 9:15 Tuesday night. Again, they found evidence of forced entry although it is unknown if anything was taken during this break in. There was also a break in at Family Taxes at around 1:10 Wednesday morning but police are unsure if that was connected. Anyone with information should contact Waterloo Police.
