The City of Waverly offices including the Recycling Center will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for the Christmas holiday. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on those two days. Tuesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up this morning. Wednesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday. Carts should be at the curb by 7am to ensure it gets picked up. There will also be no garbage picked up in Readlyn tomorrow. Residents will be allowed one extra bag on Friday without a tag. Tuesday’s garbage collection in Waterloo will be moved to today, recycling will not be affected. Wednesday’s garbage and recycling collection will be moved back to Thursday. Thursday and Friday recycling pickup will also be postponed by one day.
