A Mexican resident who was arrested for possession of methamphetamine four times after illegally re-entering the United States has now been sentenced to prison time, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 41 year old Julio Parra Moralez was originally deported after being found in Allamakee County illegally in September of 2010. On April 10th of 2023 he was pulled over on Interstate 380 in Black Hawk County. He was found to be in possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and a glass pipe with meth inside. He was arrested and released on bond. Then, on April 25th of 2023 he was pulled over on Walnut Street and again found with a glass pipe with meth inside. He was pulled over on University Avenue on October 7th of 2023. This time it was a bong police found with meth inside. On February 17th of last year he was pulled over on East 11th Street and found with a glass pipe with meth inside. In May he was indicted on charges of Illegal Re-entry and Alien in Possession of a Firearm. He has been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
