Board of Regents Approves UNI’s Housing Plan

The Iowa Board of Regents has approved UNI’s purchase of an apartment complex near campus and the demolition of a building on campus. The University will pay just over $20 million for The Quarters, which features 11 buildings and can house up to 490 residents. The property also features on-site parking, a pool, basketball courts, and sand volleyball courts.

Separately, the Board of Regents approved the demolition of Campbell Hall, which had been a residence hall but had been unoccupied for three years. They intend to simply return that location to greenspace.
