On Wednesday January 22, 2025 at 3:05 a.m. the Cedar Falls Police and Mercy One Paramedics were dispatched to 2515 Tremont St for an assault that had just occurred. Upon investigation of the incident on scene officers determined that a domestic assault had taken place against the victim (the defendant’s girlfriend). Several additional charges stemmed from the defendant’s behaviors and actions while being taken into custody.
Hunter Brown, 21 of Cedar Falls was taken into custody for the following charges:
708.2A(2B) Domestic Assault Abuse, a serious misdemeanor
708.7(2a)(1) Harassment 1st, an aggravated misdemeanor
719.1(b) Interference w/ official acts, a simple misdemeanor
708.7(2A)(1) Harassment 1st, an aggravated misdemeanor
708.3A(4) Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations, a serious misdemeanor
