Woman Sentenced for Helping Sex Offender Escape

A Waterloo woman has been sentenced to prison time for helping a sex offender escape the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility and bringing him to her home where he had access to her children, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 26 year old Breanna Kisner pleaded guilty to Aiding and Abetting Escape, Accessory After the Fact, Child Endangerment Causing Bodily Injury and three counts Child Endangerment. Kisner gave 28 year old Lance Taylor a ride from the residential facility on September 14th where he was serving time for 2016 sex crime. Officers visited Kisner’s home looking for Taylor but Kisner refused to let them into her home. Then on September 25th a 13 year old girl came over to watch the children because nobody else in the home was sober. While she was there Taylor allegedly sexually abused, hit and strangled her. Police were called to the home where they eventually found Taylor hiding in the garage. He will go to trial in April. Another person, Shari Hampton has been charged with Child Endangerment for allowing the 13 year old to go to the home knowing that Taylor was there and that he was sexually interested in her. Taylor has a prior conviction for having sexual contact with a 15 year old girl and for allegedly grabbing a 16 year old girl’s groin area in Fredericksburg in October of 2019.
