Iowa voters have had plenty of opportunities to see the presidential candidates. Now, they’ll have a final chance to make a choice. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, but voters have been casting early ballots for weeks. More than 300,000 of Iowa’s 2.1 million voters have opted to vote early.
There are plenty of candidates on the ballot, starting with the presidential race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton. Other races include the Senate election between Republican incumbent Charles Grassley and Democrat Patty Judge, four congressional races, and legislative contests that will determine which party controls the state House and Senate.
In many races, voters will have several choices, as minor-party candidates are running for president, U.S. Senate and other offices.
