Waverly mayor Mark Anderson addressed a rumor that the Kids Kingdom playground will be demolished.
The wooden structure was built in September of 1992. Anderson says a new play structure wouldn’t come until after the new public pool is finished. He added that a new structure would ideally be nearer to the new pool and would have an easier line of sight for parents watching their kids. He said it hasn’t been decided whether or not a new playground would be wooden.
