A northwest Iowa man has been arrested after allegedly sending pictures of his genitals to someone he thought was a 14 year old girl, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 48 year old Jon Jones of Dickens met someone on Reddit who he believed was a 14 year old girl. Jones allegedly asked that person for nude pictures on multiple occasions and eventually sent pictures of his own genitals. The person Jones was communicating with was not a 14 year old girl, however, it was actually a Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy. Jones has been arrested and charged with Grooming, Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor, and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. 23 year old Devin Howes of Dunkerton was caught in the same scheme and recently was charged with the same crimes.
