An Oelwein man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a woman back in November, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Buchanan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40 year old Jose Rosales and charged him with third degree Sexual Abuse. Deputies say that Rosales met a woman at a bar in Oelwein on November 28th into the 29th. He then drove the woman from the bar to Hazleton. During the drive the woman texted family members for help. The family tracked her phone and when they reached Rosales’ truck they found Rosales on top of the woman. The woman fled the vehicle and Rosales drove off. He later denied anything happened to investigators but his DNA was allegedly found on the woman. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
