A portion of 20th Street NW in Waverly will be closed for most of the day Monday. 20th Street NW between 4th and 5th Avenues will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for culvert repairs. Work is expected to last two days. Those that travel that portion of road are asked to use an alternate route.
There will be another portion of road closed Monday in Waverly. The road just to the north of the courthouse, 1st Avenue NE between 4th and 5th Streets NE, will be closed as a crew works to remove the old 911 VHF tower. The parking lot on the east side of the courthouse will also be closed. This work is being done in order for Bremer County to update their 911 Radio System.
