A Cedar Falls man has been arrested after allegedly driving over an occupied tent over the weekend, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 42 year old Christopher Drinnon allegedly had an ongoing dispute with one of the victims. Drinnon had been texting that person but became upset when they blocked him. Drinnon is accused of driving to Big Woods Lake Campground at that point to confront the person. At around 5:00 p.m. Sunday he allegedly struck the tent with his Kia Forte before honking his horn and yelling obscenities. Officers were able to pull Drinnon over as he was leaving the campground. His blood alcohol content was measured at .215, well over the legal limit to drive. He has been charged with first offense Operating While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and four counts of Assault With a Weapon. Nobody was injured in the incident.
