A Cedar Falls woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing copper from a farm near Goodell in Hancock County in April, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 28 year old Madison Clay was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Ongoing Criminal Activity, first degree Theft, third degree Burglary, and first degree Criminal Mischief. Authorities say that Clay’s cell phone data showed she was at Sparboe Companies farm facility on at least three occasions in April, allegedly to steal copper wiring. Three others have been arrested and charged with similar crimes at the same farm. They are 39 year old Kory Peterson, 46 year old Bret Freiberg, both of Charles City, and 43 year old Dustin DeVries of Grafton.
