A special election to fill an open seat on the Floyd County Board of Supervisors was decided last night by just two votes, according to KIMT. Frank Rottinghaus received 275 votes to unofficially win the race. Joshua Neupert received 273 votes. Aaron Hobert and Douglas Lindaman both finished well behind the other two. The Floyd County Auditor’s Office says just about 22% of eligible voters cast a ballot. The election results will not become official until they are canvassed at the next meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
