Cedar Falls Fire Rescue responded to a house fire late Tuesday night, according to KWWL. Crews were called at around 11:30 p.m. to the 3100 block of Skyline Drive where they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the attic. Strong winds complicated their efforts to extinguish the flames. After several hours they were finally able to put the fire out. The home sustained major smoke and water damage but no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
