Escapee

Police are searching for a woman who has escaped from the Waterloo Women’s Center for Change work release facility. 25 year old Jasmine Donald failed to report back to the facility as required on Saturday. She was convicted of 2nd Degree Robbery in 2019 after loading up a cart with items at the Walmart in Independence and attempting to leave the store without paying for those items. As an employee stepped in to stop her, an accomplice pepper sprayed the employee. Donald was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and required to serve at least five before being considered for parole. She was admitted to the work release facility on September 23rd. She is described as Black female who stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 279 pounds.
