A Fayette man has died after crashing the ATV he was driving on Friday afternoon near Sumner. 84 year old Veryl Burghardt was driving west on 160th Street, East of T Avenue, when he went into the north ditch and crashed. Burghardt was taken by Sumner EMS to Community Hospital but died there.
