The newest member of the Waverly Police Department has taken the Oath of Office from Mayor Mark Anderson. Braxton Doebel is a graduate of Clear Lake High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Wartburg. He will begin the 16 week Iowa Law Enforcement Academy beginning in January. Upon graduation in April he will enter into the Waverly Police Department’s Field Training Officer program.
