According to KWWL, an adult and three teenagers are facing charges related to a series of recent business and vehicle burglaries in Oelwein.
Authorities arrested the four individuals after searching a home on Seventh Avenue Southwest. Police said the crime spree led to a search warrant, resulting in the arrests.
During the search, illegal drugs and stolen property were found and seized.
Hayden Harkrader of Oelwein is facing multiple charges, including burglary, theft, child endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges are pending.
A 17-year-old male from Oelwein and a 17-year-old female from Dubuque were both arrested on child endangerment, drug, and theft charges.
A 14-year-old male from Oelwein was also taken into custody on burglary, drug, and theft charges. The three teenagers have been charged in juvenile court.
