A woman who sued a Cedar Falls church after falling at a Fall Harvest Fair in 2023 has lost her suit, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Indonesia Smith broke both legs after falling on some loose corn kernels in the Trinity Bible Church parking lot on October 22nd of 2023. Attorneys for the church argued that the 28 year old Smith had ongoing medical issues with her legs and typically used a motorized scooter to get around, but was not using the device when she fell. The jury determined that the church was not at fault for the fall.
