Copper Stolen from Crossroads Mall Demolition

Two men were arrested after allegedly stealing copper from the Crossroads Mall demolition site on Monday night, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 45 year old Justin Holm and 40 year old Aaron Mackenzie were found hiding inside the remains of the mall at around 9:40 Monday night. Police found their flashlights, cut copper wires, bags containing copper fixtures, industrial size wire cutters, wrenches, and screwdrivers. Holm and Mackenzie have both been charged with third degree Burglary, Interference, and Possession of Burglary Tools. Mackenzie was also charged with fourth degree Theft.
