A Waterloo woman has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a chase with a child in the car, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police attempted to pull over a vehicle driven by 27 year old Symphony Hollars early Friday morning for a burnt out headlight. Hollars allegedly refused to pull over and ran stop lights and stop signs before finally coming to a stop at Franklin and East Third Streets. A child got out of the car and ran from the scene. Hollars was taken into custody and charged with Child Endangerment, Eluding, third offense OWI, Reckless Driving, Driving While Barred, and Operating Without an Ignition Interlock Device. Hollars was twice previously charged with OWI following crashes in September of 2023 and June of 2024. She was also on probation after three children in diapers crawled out of a second story window onto a porch roof and then could not get back in after the window closed in January of 2024.
