A recent petition garnered around 140 approved signatures in Waverly. The petition, which was to stop the city of Waverly from using certain funds to renovate the municipal golf course’s clubhouse, needed 122 to be effective.
Despite the petition mayor Kristin Happel says she believes that tonight the coucil will be able to move forward with the project.
The council meets Monday night at 7:00 in its chambers.
