A Cedar Falls man who admitted to sexually abusing a child under the age of 12 in Mason City has been sentenced, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 42 year old Isaia Weber abused the child between 2010 and 2013. He pleaded guilty to two counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child and has now been sentenced to 10 years in prison. He also pleaded guilty to second degree Harassment after he, his wife, 35 year old Lakeshia Weber, and his mother, 63 year old Dalia Weber of Charles City offered money and used other means in an attempt to persuade the victim to withdraw the charges. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail on that charge but was given credit for time served. Dalia Weber will go to trial on April 21st and Lakeshia Weber will go to trial on June 2nd.
