A truck and a trailer full of paddleboats stolen out of Sumner was located in West Union on Sunday and the alleged thief was taken into custody, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. West Union Police received a call from a concerned citizen regarding a suspicious truck and camper parked behind a business. When police approached the truck they were met by 25 year old Jared Miller. Once police determined the truck was reported stolen they took Miller into custody. They then were alerted to the fact the truck had originally been pulling a trailer with 18 paddleboats. That trailer and paddleboats was located elsewhere in West Union. Miller has been charged with four counts of first degree Theft.
