McDonald’s has been granted permission to perform due diligence activities on taking over the former Legends Sports Grill location in downtown Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. McDonald’s is expected to do surveys, tests, borings, inspections, and analyses of the location between West First Street and West Mullan Avenue. They are not committed to putting a restaurant there, however.
