Some of the details regarding Grump Days in Readlyn have been released. The parade will be held on Saturday, June 20th, beginning at 10am. The top three floats as well as the best golf cart will be awarded. There is no registration fee. Judging will begin at 9:15am on the east and west sides of Quarter Avenue. The theme of the parade will be America’s 250th Birthday. The Kiddie Parade will go around the city park beginning at 9am. The Kiddie Parade is for children 10 years old and younger. They can be in power wheels, but golf carts will not be acceptable. The bands that will be performing have also been announced. The Flying Gorillas will perform from 8pm to 11pm on Friday, June 19th. Catfish Murphy will take the stage on Saturday, also playing from 8 to 11.
