An event called “Touch a Truck” will be held in downtown Sumner on Thursday evening. From 5:00-7:00 p.m. South Carpenter Street wrapping around to Wapsie Street will be closed off for a large truck display of fire trucks, ambulances, tractors, trucks, and more. There will also be a petting zoo from Kirchland Farmstead, a food truck- Norseman Lobster, Tri-County will be offering ice cream, PEO will provide hot dogs, chips, water, and popcorn, live music will be presented by Crayon, there will be facial tattoos and kids games, and the downtown shops will be open.
