The second annual Chroma 63 Midwest Art and Music Festival will be held this weekend in Waterloo. The city backed event will feature 16 punk, metal and alternative bands performing from noon to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. There also will be 36 artists selling their work and there will be skateboarding. The event will take place in the RiverLoop Amphitheatre and in the US Bank parking lot behind the Waterloo Public Library. Chroma 63 is free and open to all ages. Last year’s festival brought in 2,500 visitors and has expanded from 10 bands to 16 this year. You can find more information on the Waterloo Center for the Arts website.
