Tractorcade Affecting Traffic Monday-Wednesday

The Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade, this year based out of Waverly, will get underway Monday. The hundreds of tractors involved will leave the Bremer County Fairgrounds in six groups beginning Monday morning at 6:50. They will head west out of town after traveling along the Cedar River Parkway, which will likely cause backups and delays between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. They are expected to come back into town the same away, again causing backups and delays from 4:20 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The tractorcade will make three stops Monday: first at DeGroote Farms, then the American Legion Post 285 in Parkersburg, and finally the Butler County Fairgrounds. They will follow different routes the next two days, going southeast Tuesday and to the north on Wednesday.
