A Waterloo woman has been identified as the person who won $2 million in the Mega Millions earlier this month, according to KWWL. 69 year old Debra Bickle matched the first five numbers, 13-30-50-52-66 but missed the Mega Ball, 2. Bickle did not check her ticket until a couple days after the draw. She checked the ticket on the Iowa Lottery app which told her she had won. Bickle said she could not believe how many zeros there were. She was expecting to retire from her job at a computer software company on Christmas Day but, instead has retired immediately. Bickle plans to use the money to pay for her five grandchildren’s schooling, remodeling her kitchen, and getting new windows. She bought her Mega Millions ticket at the self service kiosk at the Waterloo Walmart. That Walmart will receive $2,000 for selling the ticket.
