GMT Corporation in Waverly will soon have a new name as it merges with an Indiana company. Impact CNC and Summit Agricultural Group made the announcement on Monday. GMT will now operate under the Impact CNC name. Jake Kunkel, the president of the newly combined organization, said the name on the Waverly building is changing but the people, the craftmanship, and the standard are not. Additionally, Kunkel says they plan to invest in the Waverly facility and grow it. GMT was founded in 1973 and became a major supplier for John Deere. Impact CNC is based out of Columbia City, Indiana.
