The City of Readlyn has posted video of two people walking around town with masks on and carrying backpacks early Friday morning. That morning multiple vehicles were burglarized. The City is asking anyone with security cameras to check them to see if there is anything suspicious on them. The individuals in the City’s video are not seen breaking into any vehicles and may have done nothing wrong. Anyone who finds anything on their cameras or has information on the people in the City’s video are asked to contact the Readlyn Police Department. The City reminds residents to lock their vehicles as the burglaries were done to unlocked vehicles. There are also unconfirmed reports of similar activity in Denver and Dunkerton recently.
