The City of Readlyn will be flushing fire hydrants next week, weather permitting. During that time residents may find that their water pressure will vary. It may also become discolored. The discoloration does not affect the taste or the water quality and there is no health hazard associated with the discoloration. If water does become discolored, residents should run their cold water until it appears clear. The City recommends that residents avoid washing laundry during the day next week.
