Dr. Anthony Pappas is the Athletic Director and Girl’s basketball coach at Waterloo West. He was recently chosen as a finalist for national coach of the year in girls basketball by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association.
Pappas tried to put into words what this has meant to him.
He will find out if he won at a banquet in East Peoria, Illinois on June 21.
