The popular Sturgis Falls Celebration in Cedar Falls finds itself in a bit of a deficit financially. A Rainy Day Fund of sorts had been regularly kept between $150,000 and $180,000 for whatever shortfalls may come up but a move to Gateway Park in 2008 and subsequent flooding put Sturgis Falls behind the 8 ball.
