A Waterloo man has died after his car collided nearly head-on with a truck transporting a large dumpster Wednesday afternoon. According to the Iowa State Patrol crash report, 41-year-old Christopher Potter was northbound on Highway 58 near the US 20 interchange south of Cedar Falls, when a southbound Mack truck was turning left onto the eastbound US 20 on-ramp and failed to yield. The crash is under investigation.
