The case of the missing Denny the Detour dogs continues. Many downtown Waverly businesses decorated their Denny’s to showcase their individuality. Denny is also a way to show that businesses have banded together during this construction phase. Some have been stolen or destroyed.
The Love and Lace Denny is “girly” as owner Deb Mummelthei describes it, with diamonds and glitter. Mummelthei talks about her feelings on other Dennys being vandalized.
Mummelthei says they will be sure to bring the Love and Lace Denny inside before they close every night to ensure its safety.
