A letter issued by the Evansdale Youth Softball Association warning of attempted abductions in the area is raising some questions.
Board members say they issued the letter after a parent reported an incident at a playground located at the youth softball complex. They say the woman’s child was approached by two older kids offering gum to get the child into a van.
The recent abduction attempts in Evansdale has some parents worried for the safety of their children throughout the county.
