Officials have identified the man who crashed his car into a police vehicle, killing two Des Moines police officers and a prisoner.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Public Safety say 25-year-old Benjamin Beary, of Knoxville, died at the fiery crash site early Saturday.
Police say Beary’s vehicle was traveling the wrong way on Interstate 80 when the crash occurred west of Des Moines.
