According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices continue to rise across Iowa. The average retail price for a gallon of regular gas rose 2.6 cents over the past week to $2.08,
That compares with the national average which has risen 5.3 cents per gallon to $2.04. One month ago the average price in Iowa was $1.92 and $1.75 nationally.
The current prices are still nearly 40 cents a gallon lower than one year ago when Iowa’s average price was $2.41 and the national average was $2.43.
