The Division on Criminal Investigations (DCI) says the death of a Cedar Falls man who went missing while hunting now being considered a homicide. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office said on Sunday it had found the body of 31-year-old Curtis Ross who had gone missing while hunting over the weekend. The suspect(s) are still at large. They say the suspect(s) should be considered armed and dangerous. As shotgun deer season is approaching, law enforcement is asking for the public to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to their local law enforcement entity.
