The Cedar Falls Police Department held a training session to prepare community members for an active shooter situation, according to KWWL. The training session was held on Wednesday at the Cedar Falls Visitor Center. The goal of the course was to increase attendees survival chances in these types of situations. Similar training is given to Cedar Falls City Employees on a yearly basis.
