Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community has confirmed that additional residents and a staff member are the newest cases of COVID-19 in Bremer County reported over the weekend. Those residents were all in the same area of the facility along with the employee. They are all currently in isolation in accordance with public health guidance. Bartels assures the public that the well-being of residents and staff continue to be their highest priority. They are following all guidelines with respect to essential healthcare workers. Several other care facilities throughout the state have contracted COVID-19 resulting in the spread of the virus and a number of deaths.
