The Iowa DNR has issued an advisory for several beaches in Iowa due to the presence of E. coli, according to KWWL. That advisory includes George Wyth Beach due to the presence fo Microcystin and E. coli. McIntosh Woods Beach on Clear Lake as well as North Twin Lake West Beach had advisories issued due to the presence of Microcystin alone. Backbone Beach in Delaware County, Beed’s Lake Beach in Hampton, Denison Beach on Black Hawk Lake, Lake Darling Beach in Washington County, Lake Macbride in Johnson County, and Sugar Bottom Beach also in Johnson County all had E. coli advisories issued.
