Governor Kim Reynolds has temporarily eased weight limits for transporting agricultural goods in Iowa, according to KIMT. From now until December 19th vehicles can carry up to 90,000 pounds of corn, soybeans, soybean meal, hay, straw, silage, stover, fertilizer, or manure without a permit on all Iowa highways, excluding interstates. Loads still must not exceed the legal axle weight limit of 20,000 pounds or surpass posted limits on roads and bridges.
