Waterloo Schools is investigating allegations that Dubuque Wahlert fans shouted racist taunts at East girls basketball players on Tuesday night, according to KWWL. A Facebook post alleges that the Wahlert student section yelled the N-word at players. The post also alleges the students made monkey sounds and barked at players and cheerleaders. The school district says it is reviewing footage of the incident and has been in close contact with parents, coaches, and administrators from both districts.
